Jake Hastings

Founding-era principal at GroupA since 2009. Over 25 years in consulting and IT services, spanning sales leadership, operations, and enterprise delivery. Before GroupA, served as VP of Sales and Consulting Services at Adam Jacobs Associates where he opened the West Coast operation, and held director-level sales and operations roles at TechLink Systems and Qualis Consulting — building client practices, recruiting teams, and working directly with CIOs and MIS directors on IT strategy.

Leads business development and service delivery at GroupA, partnering with customers to align technology initiatives with meaningful business outcomes. Career built across small and mid-sized businesses — from early-stage startups to multibillion-dollar enterprises — spanning both infrastructure and software environments. Focused on helping organizations modernize, scale, and compete in the rapidly evolving age of AI through practical, outcome-driven technology investments.

IT Audit & BCDR

Peter Schabinger

Leads IT audit and BCDR engagements for PE-backed portfolio companies at GroupA. Delivers infrastructure and cybersecurity assessments, business impact analyses, and remediation frameworks to executive and investor stakeholders — the work that determines whether IT becomes a purchase price adjustment or a clean pass in buyer diligence. Over a decade at Commvault Systems as a Professional Services engineer across healthcare, financial services, and biotech — building the hands-on infrastructure depth that makes his assessments specific, not theoretical.

Business Operations

Nikki Zucker

Runs GroupA's operational backbone — business development through MBE/SBE certifications, employee onboarding, contracts, compliance, payroll, benefits, and internal systems. Manages the day-to-day operations that keep the firm running while the delivery teams are in the field. Over three years at GroupA building the processes and infrastructure behind a growing consulting practice.

Lead Recruiter

Carissa Page

Leads talent acquisition at GroupA, sourcing the senior practitioners who staff client engagements. Background in education leadership — served as Founding Principal at Impact Public Schools in Seattle, Principal at Manhattan Charter Schools in New York, and Phase Leader at St. Francis of Assisi in London — before moving into recruiting. The experience of building teams from scratch in high-accountability environments translates directly to identifying operators who can deliver at enterprise scale.

Chris Chitwood

Strategic IT recruiter with deep roots in enterprise banking. Spent 23 years at Wells Fargo as a Senior Technology Business Services Consultant and Project Manager, followed by enterprise portfolio management at MUFG. Brings two decades of hands-on experience navigating the full SDLC lifecycle, which means he understands the technical roles he recruits for from the inside — not from a job description.
